  • Know someone in need? The Family Center receives bread everyday about 10:00, available to anyone. They usually get a load of produce every Monday at 9:00, available to everyone. They also have a food pantry available to Maury County residents with a Maury County ID, open Tuesday through Friday 9:00-4:00.

15,000-25,000 lbs. of food will be dropped off in a parking lot, where volunteers will be waiting to sort and distribute it all to our neighbors in need. We pride ourselves on providing fresh and healthy foods, as well as things that are easily prepared and cooked. We do not ask questions or have requirements for people who can receive food.
Volunteers to arrive at 7:30 AM, drive thru distribution starts at approximately 9:00 AM and ends at 10:30 AM.
Food is distributed on a first come, first served basis.

    • Pinewood Springs Adolescent Outpatient Program...Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program is open and accepting referrals Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm and on Tuesdays family group sessions offered.

‘Get Alarmed, TN’ Smoke Alarm Program
A local smoke alarm program funded by the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office called “Get Alarmed, TN” was shared on the Big Yellow School Bus by Fire Chief Ty Cobb. Through this campaign, Columbia Fire and Rescue installs free fire alarms in residential homes for citizens. The CFR We will also ensure that currently installed smoke alarms in your home are working correctly. Call 931-560-1700 to schedule a time to have your smoke alarm inspected or get a new one. 
"Get Alarmed, TN!" is a grant-funded fire safety education and smoke alarm installation program administered by the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO). Launched in November 2012, the program distributes fire safety education and 10-year sealed battery smoke alarms to participating fire departments. The fire departments then deliver the education and install smoke alarms in at-risk homes across the state.

552 participating fire departments
173 homes per week

Child Safety Seat Program
The child safety seat program provides free child safety seats to residents of Columbia. A child must be present to qualify for a free car seat. If you already have a car seat and need it inspected, a child does not have to be present. Inspections are also free of charge—Call 931-560-1700 to schedule a time to have a seat checked or get a new one.

Donations Needed
Our WMS Family Resource Center is always in need of donations (school supplies, leggings, school appropriate t-shirts, tennis shoes, non-perishable food items, etc.)  If you would like to donate items/money to our FRC, please contact JoAnna Neece and arrangements can be made.
